Bojan Blagojevic, DVM, PhD, Dipl. ECVPH, Department of Veterinary Medicine Faculty of Agriculture Novi Sad, Serbia

Bojan Blagojevic is Professor in Meat Hygiene at the Department of Veterinary Medicine, University of Novi Sad, Serbia. He is a European Specialist in Veterinary Public Health - Food Science. His main research interests include meat safety, risk assessment of public and animal health hazards and risk-based meat inspection. He has been involved in numerous international scientific projects and coordinated COST Action RIBMINS. He serves in expert groups of EFSA in relation to meat safety.

 

Godfred Darko, PhD, Deparment of Chemistry, Kwame Nkrumah University Of Science & Technology, Kumasi, Ghana

Professor Godfred Darko is a distinguished environmental and food toxicologist at KNUST, Ghana, and a Fellow of the Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences. His research focuses on sample preparation, bioaccessibility of metals and xenobiotic substances. He has led several major research initiatives on contaminants in Africa. Additionally, he serves as an editor for respected scientific journals and contributes as a consultant and external assessor for institutions worldwide.

 

Awanwee Petchkongkaew, PhD, Lecturer, Thammasat University, Founding Co-Director, The International Joint Research Center on Food Security, Thailand

Dr. Awanwee Petchkongkaew is a prominent researcher and lecturer in the Department of Food Science and Technology at Thammasat University, Thailand. She is particularly known for her expertise in food microbiology, food safety, and mycotoxins—harmful compounds produced by fungi that pose significant risks to food security and health. Dr. Petchkongkaew's work involves studying mycotoxin contamination in food and feed, developing biological methods for mitigating these toxins, and advancing food safety practices in the ASEAN region.
